DSGH is a non-profit organization which means that these positions offer no pay. They are strictly volunteer. Any expenses incurred are that of the person applying and DSGH shall not be held liable for any expenses. There is some danger involved in paranormal investigations and all team members have been advised of this. DSGH can not be held liable for any injury or death resulting in an investigation.

Requirements for current positions are but not limited to:

Investigator-in-Training: must have a willingness to learn and follow orders. Must be capable of physical activities which include but are not limited to, lifting objects between 20-50lbs, climbing stairs, hiking. Must be professional at all times. Be able to travel to and from investigations on their own, carpooling is sometimes available, but not always. Must be able to assist with other tasks i.e. setting up equipment, documentation, research.

Research: must have knowledge with researching locations, history, persons. Must keep in direct contact with Founder about investigations and new information. Must have knowledge with government, county, and state authorities. Must be willing to travel to locations to pick up and/or research records. Must know how to use Office applications such as Microsoft Word. Must maintain a professional attitude at all times.

Tech: must have knowledge with all types of equipment. Must be able to set up and maintain equipment on investigation site. Must be able to locate proper areas to place cameras etc. Will help assist Investigators and Founder on other tasks as well. Must maintain a professional attitude at all times.

 

*It is very important to remember that this is a volunteer position. Every single person that is with DSGH is an important factor and our group relies on our volunteers for many things. If you do not feel that you could give the time to this group, please do not apply.
