Greetings paranormal enthusiasts!
The DSGH forum has been very active this last month due to an increase in the number of topics posted and
and clearly an interest is there. However, we are always on the lookout for a new angle to research, so we need your help!
If you have a topic that you would like explored or have questions about the stories or topics posted, let us know! Just post
your replies or create your own thread! Presenting new ideas or examining current ones in a new light is crucial to thinking
and no question or idea is ridiculed so long as it is presented in good taste, with the same respect for others doing the same.
We hope you enjoy this month's newsletter. If there are paranormal topics
you would like to see us cover in future newsletters, please leave a note on the
DSGH Forum!
Happy hunting!
Newest Member of DSGH
 |
Very recently, Meggy Hines announced a new member of the Dirty South Ghost Hunters. His name is Diesel, another member of the Hines household.
Diesel brings with him a great asset; an apparent sensitivity to paranormal events!
In an effort to explore the depths of this ability, |
Diesel will be invited to join the team on
select investigations in order to gather more research into the
level of ability animals have to 'sense' paranormal activity.

DSGH Announces Contribution
Dirty South Ghost Hunters is proud to announce Cemetery Clean Up
|
Dirty South Ghost Hunters a non-profit Paranormal Investigation group in Florence, AZ is announcing their monthly
contribution to the community. DSGH has been involved in several investigations in Pinal County. Meggy Hines, the
owner and founder of DSGH has put together a community service plan to help local cemeteries with clean up. Cemetery
Clean Up will take place one weekend per month at various local cemeteries. One of which is the Florence Cemetery
located in Florence, AZ. |
Plans include removal of trash and debris, as
well as weed clean up. Meggy Hines states that because their group utilizes
cemeteries as training locations to keep up their skills with paranormal
investigating, it is important that they show their respect for being allowed to
investigate at these locations.
Meggy Hines is an admirer of Florence, Arizona’s history and feels that without the cemeteries, we may never know
where we came from. Cemeteries remain an important part in the lives of those who have lost loved ones, giving them
a place to mourn, remember, and feel a connection with those long passed. For Meggy Hines, this opportunity is truly
an honor. Dates and times will be posted on the DSGH Website.
If you are interested in volunteering and being a part of Cemetery Clean Up, contact Meggy Hines at 480.584.9941 or

Q: What do you bring to the DSGH group? What sets you apart from the rest?
A: A background in electronics, logic and critical thinking. I consider myself a 'moderate skeptic'.
By that term, I mean that I tend to point a skeptical eye at paranormal evidence and will try to find a logical explanation.
however, in the same light I tend to examine the plausibility of an alternate explanation before I consider any evidence as
debunked or validated. I believe this method fairly examines the evidence when it is difficult to validate or explain.
Q: What is your favorite investigation to date? A:
I would definately have to say that the Adamsville Cemetery training sessions. I have written about these experiences on the
DSGH forum under the "General Topics" section. Look for 'Investigator Journal: The Mystery of Ima'. It has been an exciting
experience and I wanted to and will continue to share the findings.
Q: Do you consider yourself a skeptic, believer or on the fence? A: Due to personal paranormal experiences of the past,
I would have to classify myself as a believer to the effect that I believe some things exist beyond what is considered 'normal'. However, I
am critical of all claims of the paranormal due to the fact that too many things not qualifying to fit this category are often presented as 'proof'.
This has a negative effect on the credibility of research into the paranormal and makes it even harder to discuss when legitimate evidence is received.
Its this approach that makes me call myself a 'moderate skeptic'.
Q: What do your relatives think about your being a part of DSGH? A:
My family has been very supportive of my decision to join.
