Summary
Started investigation at approximately 5:30pm.
Entering the home, Breckyn, Susan and Meggy noticed a much cooler feeling in the home. Meggy believes that this was due to the fact that the home is adobe. The walls are approximately 24inches thick. Walking from the back room, through the larger room and into the kitchen, the team noticed that it was slightly cooler in the kitchen, although this room should have been a bit warmer than the rest of the home due to exposure of the afternoon sun.

There was a sense of calm in the kitchen.

The team moved to the small bedroom and bathroom, nothing out of the ordinary was noticed while in those rooms.

The team set up chairs on the east end of the long room, looking towards the bathroom and kitchen.

Susan noticed a small orb approximately 4 inches in diameter move from the entry way of the kitchen, into the kitchen.

Meggy and Breckyn noticed that a dark mist was attempting to form in the doorway of the bathroom. This happened several times throughout the evening.

Walking towards the bathroom and small bedroom, Susan was over come with a sewer-like stench. Meggy and Breckyn both witnessed this stench as well. Meggy was aprehensive in going into the small bedroom and bathroom. The stench would come and go abruptly. There was a heaviness in the area of the small hallway.

Leaving that area, Meggy felt cold chills and stated out loud, at this point Susan felt cold chills as well she stated that she was not sure if it was because Meggy had just stated it. Breckyn took pictures to show evidence that there was cold bumps and the hair on the arms were standing on end. Meggy stated that the cold chills quickly moved up her back and peaked at the neck.

Susan moved to her left slightly and while Meggy was speaking with Susan, there was a sound coming from where Susan had set her snacks and drinks at. This sound was heard twice. Meggy dismissed the incident as settling of the food.

The team took small breaks in between this time.

Returning from break, the DVR was placed in the small bedroom. The K-II meter was placed in the corner between the kitchen and small hallway.

Susan states that she saw two small red lights.

The K-II meter did not pick up anything.

The team heard a loud knock in the area of where Susan's snacks and drinks were located. The team could not figure out what could have caused that noise.

Meggy had followed a cold spot from the corner between the kitchen and small hallway. It moved into the kitchen, Meggy states that as soon as she moved closer into the kitchen she was hit with extremely cold air.

Around this same time, while Susan was standing in the small hallway, she states that she felt a cold breeze as well.

At one point in the night, Breckyn felt like she was being watched while she was outside. She entered the room and Meggy noticed that Breckyn's heart was beating rapidly.

Several times through out the night Breckyn and Meggy both saw a dark shadow figure appear in the door way of the bathroom and then quickly move back in towards the bathroom.

Susan and Meggy heard water dripping coming from the small room in the back, but Susan stated that there are no utilities in this home.

Breckyn heard a shuffling noise a few times coming from the small room. Breckyn stated that it sounded like someone moving across carpet, but there is no carpet in the small room.

As Meggy was taking a picture, Breckyn saw a dark silohuette in the bathroom, the team was unable to recreate this effect.

There was also cold spots felt that seemed to travel into the kitchen.

The team took a break and went outside of the building and stood out front on Ruggles St. A few police officers were cooking hamburgers and Susan decided to walk over and speak with them.

A woman named Catherine stated that she was psychic and had been since she was 6 years old. She stated that she would like to come over later in the evening.

Catherine came over to the home and Meggy had asked her a couple of questions. Breckyn asked Catherine to walk into the small hallway leading to the bedroom and bathroom and see if she was able to feel something. Catherine noticed the stench and felt a heaviness in the area of the hallway.

Catherine stated that she was drawn to the kitchen area and asked if she was allowed. Meggy told her yes.

Catherine came out of the kitchen, clearly emotional and stated that it was a gentle soul and there was a lot of love in there. There was a lot of good. Meggy had asked what the entity was and Catherine stated that it was an older woman, she liked to watch the children out the kitchen door window. Catherine gave Meggy an age of the woman between 50-70. Catherine stated that there was a boy and a girl there as well and they were not older than 7 years old.

Breckyn asked if Catherine would go outside and feel the area where Breckyn felt like she was being watched. On the northwest corner of the building in the back area, Breckyn, Susan and Catherine could feel energy coming from the home. Meggy could not feel it.

They noticed that it was coming from the other side as well. Meggy was able to feel it at this point.

Walking back into the home, Meggy had asked Catherine if she would be able to speak to the negative energy and ask why it was here. Catherine moved into the kitchen to be surrounded by the positive energy.

Catherine came out of the kitchen clearly emotional and stated that this entity was a male and that he told her that he had done something very bad and he is stuck here. He accepts what he has done and does not mean to hurt anyone. He said that he did not want to leave and please don't make him leave.

Catherine stated that she feels this energy is very old, older than the other one that is here. She states that this male entity is not from this house, but only stays here because he feels that he is safe.

Catherine stated that the woman was happy to be there and wanted to stay with her children. The woman said she wanted to share things and you could hear her if you were open to it.

Meggy asked Catherine to speak to the woman and ask her if it was ok that they continue to remodel this building and if she would be willing to allow this. Catherine stated that the woman was ok with the remodeling and would like to have what she had in this home which was love and laughter. Catherine stated that this woman wants to remain here with her children.

Conclusion
DSGH does not use the help of a psychic or medium as evidence of the paranormal. The personal experiences felt in the home by DSGH Investigators concludes that there is paranormal activity in the home.
Meggy felt that there was no need to do a smudging ceremony in the home, because the home will no longer be used as a residence. Although there is a dark presence felt in the home, Meggy believes that this presence is not threatening in nature. The other entity that was felt in the home was more of a calm nature.
The information given by “Catherine” validates Connie’s claims as to the paranormal activity that occurred in the home while her and her family resided in this home.
